Morris Garages has shown Gloster in India earlier this year. The full-size SUV made its debut at Auto Expo 2020 and its basically a fourth launch from the MG in the market after the Hector, ZS EV and Hector Plus. This refined version of Maxus D90 is the most premium SUV from the MG and it is worth supposing that it will beat; at least compete with other SUVs in the Indian car industry. Safety culture is being promoted in the auto industry all over the world and MG has emerged with a pro-active approach in this regard. The company has teased its consumers with a video showing some cool and much-needed safety features in the new SUV.

BREAKING THE ICE

Let’s get straight to the most appealing features that Gloster is offering. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is one of the safety features provided in the SUV. ACC makes use of sensors and visuals via cameras to understand the road traffic condition and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles. But in extremely congested roads, this feature is not helpful yet its costs much high in vehicle production. That is why only luxury vehicles have this feature on board like Mercedes-Benz S-class, Range Rover and Volvo’s all variants.
Another safety feature provided in this SUV is Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), this helps in emergency conditions when brake application lag is crucial. Before you can realize a hazard, AEB does its job and keeps you safe from colliding or getting into an accident. Human beings are not as vigilant as AEB, and this is what the deal is.
And the last one boasted feature in the video is Hands-free Auto Parking, this uses sensors to park the SUV in a sweet spot without giving trouble to your hands and mind. But this feature is not much of a new hype, its already being offered in many other vehicles in India.

This engine will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission for better utilization of diesel torque and that too with freedom of sudden acceleration; in case needed. A 4WD option will also be provided.
The SUV may get a 7 seating capacity or a 6 but this totally depends upon the configuration which is selected by the maker. Features for survival
Human race has proven the theory of survival of the fittest and now the auto industry is proving it. Its already 2020 here and auto industry is offering meaningful new features with every new generation. Those with lesser offerings are not enjoying bulky sales due to consumer’s sense of technology. Gloster has such features to keep it going with the fleet. These features include panoramic sunroof, adaptive LED headlights, gesture-controlled tailgate, heated wing mirrors, ambient lighting, an 8.0-inch digital instrument screen, three-zone auto climate control and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Safety is not forgotten in Gloster in any shape or kind, so it offers a blind spot mirror, curtain airbags for all three rows and a traction control system.
