Imagine waking up with your skin dull and patchy every day when you look into the mirror. It shouts out disaster for the rest of your day. We all love to look sparkling, bright, and shiny every day when we wake up. But how do we achieve that desired effect? Salons, parlors, skincare treatments are what we run to. It does give our desired dreamy skin for a while, but it is not a permanent solution.

The most effective way to handle your skin is to care for it daily and not just when it starts to look hideous. Our skin is subjected to a ton of brutalities, including sunlight, dirt, grime, pollution that gets mixed with our natural oils and causes our skin to lose its charm.

Let us take you through our very own in-house tips and tricks for your skin. Learn to care for your skin of different types to give you the required effect. All you have to do is follow a couple of steps, which tend to get overlooked and place it as your basic routine to avoid looker older than you already are.

1.      Exfoliate regularly

The most basic skincare rule that is widely accepted is always to exfoliate. Why? Our skin replaces itself in a recurring and continuous process throughout the day. Dust and grime keep setting on your skin like layers. Avoiding to get rid of them, will make the layers of your skin contaminated and make it dull and grimy. Exfoliation has to be a gentle procedure so as not to harm the skin. Being aggressive with exfoliation leads to fatigue, which makes you look dull and aged. Two to three times a week and be sure to land up with beautiful glowing skin.

2.      Regular skin spas

Weekends are a great excuse to get yourself pampered with salon and spa treatments. You will need to schedule facials every month. Ideally, it would be best if you were getting a clean-up and facial on a monthly basis. You can opt for skin brightening facial, which caters to all skin types. It has components that effectively exfoliate your skin to give you a natural yet cleansing experience. With growing age, herbal facials are the way to go. Facials that have organic and natural ingredients tend to rejuvenate your skin better without causing harm and help in making you look younger.

3.      Watch your water intake

We hear the common phrase that lots of hydration are the best beauty tip to good skin. As we grow older, we must take into account our dietary and water intake. These two agents are critical enablers to the health of our skin. Drinking enough fluids helps the skin retain moisture and clear of acne or heat boils. Lack of adequate hydration makes the skin lose the glow and leaves the skin looking fallen and patchy. It also darkens the pigmentation to a large extent. Always use water as a savior to your skin aging and look younger and less aged.

4. Don’t avoid fruits

Don’t be nonplussed. Fruits are not useful and excellent only when eaten. Many fruits help you naturally rejuvenate your skin of any damage and toil that the weather conditions that you have been subjecting it to. Bananas and Papaya, combined with natural ingredients, make excellent face masks. They can be used as a consistent cleansing mechanism. Tomatoes, coupled with honey, serve very well with a slight toner as a de-tan pack, which takes that tan right off. Walnuts are a new addition on the block in terms of face masks. Fruits have antioxidizing and exfoliating properties, which makes a nutty solution to skin aging.

5.      Minimize your makeup

As women, we love to deck ourselves up in the morning. Our regular makeup stash consists of many kinds of essentials in the form of eye shadows, CC creams, compacts, face foundations, lip glosses, and balms, etc. Why so much work? Try looking as natural as possible. It’s not because its something that is trending that we suggest this.

It is out of concern for your skin. The less we subject our skin to makeup, the smoother, younger, and natural it reflects. Anything synthetic will impart harm, if not now, later. As you grow older, try to lace your looks with more pastels and nudes, so your pores are not stuffy with heavy makeup.

Final Words

We know that as we grow every day, our old skin falls off in the form of dead cells, and new skin takes its place. With age, the process slows and becomes less active. That is the reason you start looking wrinkled and aged. The best solution is to take care of your skin when you are younger to avoid skin fatigue and dull looks.
